Science Fair
5th and 6th grade Science Fair
Fifth and sixth grade students participate in the yearly OLMC Science Fair. The purposes of the science fair are to encourage students to develop problem solving and thinking skills; stimulate interest, curiosity, and a desire to explore our world; foster independence by providing the opportunity to take initiative and responsibility in studying a topic of one’s choosing; and to develop family cooperation and involvement. These projects are displayed at school sometime in January or February for the student body to observe. From there, students are chosen from the 5th and 6th grade classes to participate in the Diocesan Science Fair.
