Unit spelling test will be given every Friday. (unless otherwise stated)

 Welcome Back!

7th grade Social Studies:    We will be reading about the first Americans and how they arrived in the Americas.During the week the students will read pages 5-9, define vocabulary, answer reading check, and critical questions in the illustrations. 

8th grade Social Studies:Students will begin chapter 11, Jacksonian Democracy.  and Indian removal.(pages 337-347) 

6th grade Social Studies: We will begin reading about the Paleolithic people.  

Religion: We will read and discuss chapter 1.  Students will understand that the Bible is God’s own word.

Spelling:  Unit 1: Tuesday pages 12-13 will be assigned, Wednesday, page 14, Thursday, page 15.  Friday will be the test on unit 1.

English:  The students will be discussing various steps in the writing process. (pages 5-11)
