Challenges for Egress Solutions

Egress Solutions came to Epic with almost everything they needed to dominate a relatively niche market — a vast inventory of basement egress products, a robust network of partner installers, and knowledgeable and experienced management. Their web presence, however, remained buried underground — with a website that was doing little to demonstrate their capabilities.

Solutions

Epic embarked on a three-pronged approach to bolster website content, building out pages to:

  1. Educate site visitors on individual egress products, their functions, and their benefits.
  2. Establish Egress Solutions as the go-to egress provider in New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, eastern Pennsylvania, and southeastern New York.
  3. Speak directly to each target audience: homeowners, property owners, contractors, building suppliers, architects/engineers, and safety coordinators.

Along the way, the team streamlined site navigation and user experience (UX), began blogging to address popular questions and concerns in-depth, and launched Google Ads campaigns for a competitive edge in local search.

Results

Egress Solutions' online presence has seen steady growth since beginning its partnership with Epic Web Studios, culminating in an 83% increase in new website users in 2024 vs. 2023, allowing Egress to hit its average annual sales numbers by the end of Q3.
