The Challenge
The Auto Station came to Epic Web Studios by referral from Local Falcon, after the owner began noticing a pronounced drop in his local search rankings — and consequently calls and online appointment requests.
His previous agency had built his site from a template and leaned heavily into programmatic SEO, generating hundreds of nearly identical pages with slight keyword variations. The result was content clearly written for search engines, not human beings.
The Solution
After Epic conducted a full site audit to identify areas for improvement, we were cleared to begin from a clean slate, eliminating spammy programmatic content and rebuilding the site from the ground up on epicPlatform.
Along the way, menus and navigational elements were restructured for a better user experience, pages were reformatted for consistency and more helpful content, and original imagery and video was implemented to humanize the experience of working with The Auto Station.
The Results
Client Testimonial
Falcon trends, direct [customer] feedback, and a huge bump in our inbound call rate seem to indicate a lift in effective traffic. As I understand it, crap content lands with more of a thud as this [Google] update rolls out. I'm loving the informative style of the content crafted by you folks and it does look to be paying some dividends right out of the gate.
